Commissioner Bush?

So I just read this article on ESPN.com about theoretical replacements for Bud Selig as commissioner of Major League Baseball whenever Bud finally decides to retire, and apparently, George W. wanted to be commissioner when Bud got the job. I wonder how terribly W. would have handled that role, and as an avid baseball fan, I'm trying to decide if I'm happier he was passed over for that role, allowing Bud to do a pretty good job of turning baseball into the extremely marketable and profitable entity that it is today, or if we ALL would have been better if W. had been handed the reigns of MLB, ruined it for a few years and pissed off enough people that we never would have heard of him in the national political ring. Serious quandary.
