Alright let's see how annoyingly different I can be on this. First off, I can't wait to hear the uproar regarding the FDA decision to allow people to consume cloned meat. Who are the dumb asses that think this is going to lead to their children developing third arms, tails, or extra eyes coming out of their abdomen? Reptiles have been cloning themselves for eons and things eat them without any dangerous ramifications, yet for some reason humans believe that they fall outside the realm of nature. What a narcissistic view, particularly when a majority of the uproar will come from either people who are god fearing Bush voters (idiots,) or left-wing vegans who don't realize that we have incisors for a reason. If Dolly (cloned sheep) had ended up on my plate, the only thing I would have asked was where's the mint jelly. Anyways, this should be interesting to see how it plays out.
A second COMPLETELY different question is, what the hell are the San Francisco Giants thinking signing Barry Zito to a 7 year, $126 million dollar contract. Granted the guy is 28 and has a relatively easy throwing motion, but for christ's sake, he was 16-10 last year. Do they realize the company that he now falls into? Kevin Brown and Mike Hampton. The two previous owners of largest contracts ever given out to starting pitchers. Look how well that played out. I realize that San Fran is a little clueless in some regards, after all, they are gonna end up paying Barry Bonds $18 million so he can play in 50 games, ride the bench for the other 110+ games and bitch the entire time. Good times.
